Hi guys - just a quick thank tou to whoever was moderating Sardelac tonight!

Some guy posted a fairly common request for (won't mention it to spare his blushes) - not too bad in itself, but he doubleposted with "please leave comments" a minute later, and he had a really offensive avatar.

Without thinking, I bumped his two-post thread with a little heads-up, telling him this was not an R-rated forum, and how double posting is unacceptable in any forum. I know - I should have just hit the report button!

Thing is, he was modded so fast that when my post appeared, his avatar had already vanished and his second post had been merged into the first! I quickly went to edit my own post, but that had been modded to remove all reference to his double post and avatar.

Superb moderation - I take my hat off to you. (And I'll keep my amateur moderation to myself from now on

For everyone/any mod that wishes to answer, how did you guys get into guildwars? and what is your favorite part about it? ^^;

Hmm Good question actually.

Back in beta, my dad played Guild Wars. I watched him for like 5 minutes at a time play then said "this game looks stupid" and left the room to go do something els.

Then I kept watching, and I ended up making him buy me an account on the Guildwars Website.

I was still playing Ragnarok Online at the time when I heard of Guild Wars... My friend told me about it and then he got it at release and then when I got home from college I played a bit at his house and decided to buy it which ended up being a week or so after release.

I'll have you know that one of our members is in Pow Pow Pow on another account and holds halls almost every day! So nubs, no, but most of us aren't that good at PvP either. We range from crap to awesome.
